British Gymnastics is currently enjoying something of a golden era – and the emergence of Taeja James, from the City of Birmingham Gymnastics club, ensures that it’s likely to continue for some time to come.

Muay Thai fighter Dakota is only 17 and she’s already gained British and European junior titles and gold medals in the last three world championships.

 

Until Louis Smith won a bronze in Beijing in 2008, no British male gymnast had found himself on an Olympic podium since 1928 – now Regini-Moran is out to ensure that the country’s golden gymnastics era continues.
